The carburant we research and produce are ideal additive for ductile iron, grey iron and steel .With the property of high carbon ,low sulphur, low nitrogen, less harmful impurity, good absorption effect, no returned slag and other superior feature, you can decrease the use of iron or totally save the use of it in the process of casting products, thus save the cost considerably , the methord has already been approved by most of the people in the line.
The amount of steel scrap can be largely increased and, oppositely ,the iron can be largely decreased by using the carburant in the product of casting. Currently most of the carburant are used in EAF and LF, some with the superior absorption feature can used in cupola furnace.The carburant should be thrown into the electric furnace with other furnace charge, say steel scrap. And small quantity can added into the surface of the iron liquid.The big quantity carburant can’t be thrown into the furnace ,as too much oxidation will influence the effect of carbon increasing and take the result that the carbon in the casting is still not enough. The carburant amount thrown into the furnace should be judge according to the other material portion ,and the C content in these materials. Different carburant style used in different cast iron. Choosing the proper carburant can largely decrease the cost of casting producing.
